After its inception in 2006 in New York (and later the Paris Conservatory), the Zodiac Trio sprung onto the scene after winning a series of prizes on the international competition circuit that resulted in a string of spotlight features in both printed media and radio.

 

Today, the Zodiac Trio is recognized by many to be the leading clarinet-violin-piano ensemble performing, boasting a consistently international schedule. Recognized for performances marked with a special gusto, whether giving a trademark performance of Bela Bartok’s Contrasts, or an original arrangement of House of the Rising Sun, the Zodiac Trio has appeared on many of the world’s top venues from Beijing Center for the Performing Arts and Japan’s Izumi Hall, to Festival Radio France Montpelier, Edinburgh Festival, Lincoln Center and Ottawa Chamberfest.

Over the past ten years, the Zodiac Trio has had over 100 works written for it, and has been featured on Radio France, Italy’s RAI 3, Beijing’s CCTV, New York WXQR and WNYC, Boston’s WGBH, Chicago’s WFMT and CBC Radio and Television (Canada). In 2013, the ensemble launched a successful summer chamber music academy and Festival in France – the Zodiac Music Academy & Festival.
