A leader of its instrumentation, the Zodiac Trio has been touring internationally for over a decade, bringing clarinet-violin-piano repertoire to the foreground of chamber music.

When the Zodiac Trio was still in its formative years studying at the Paris Conservatory, MUSO Magazine (a London-based publication dedicated to classical musicians under thirty) found the young ensemble and featured it in a two-page spread, praising the group for "bringing a rare combination of instruments into the spotlight."Since then, the Zodiac Trio has been on a mission to expand its audience by creating a more inclusive concert experience that would please both the chamber music aficionado and the concert hall newcomers. By creating and programming unique arrangements alongside profound contemporary masterpieces, the Zodiac Trio strives to reconcile the two worlds under the banner of: music is music. Whether its performing Bartok at a beer hall in a "Beer, Brats and Bartok" event, or giving a choreographed performance of Stravinsky's "A Soldiers Tale," costumes and all, for a children's theatre in Beijing, the Zodiac Trio is dedicated to re-imagining chamber music.

Strong advocates for new music, the Zodiac Trio has commissioned numerous composers over the past 10 years, including Grammy-award winning Richard Danielpour, Reiko Fueting, Andrew List, Kyong Mee Choi, John McDonald and Nicolas Gilbert, among many others. Their 2015 album “DREAMTIME” was dedicated to American contemporary chamber music, with 4 commissioned works, including a special call-for-score project titled "Zodiac: Across the Universe" - a tapestry of 12 one-minute movements by 12 different composers. Equally dedicated to pedagogy and working with young artists, the Zodiac Trio is often invited to give masterclasses, presentation and residencies at top musical institutions, among which are Manhattan School of Music, San Francisco Conservatory, Roosevelt University, University of Missouri, University of Minnesota, Western Michigan University, Boston University, Berklee College of Music, Tufts University, Amherst College, University of Kansas, Drake University, Southeastern University of Oklahoma, Mount Allison University (Canada), Acadia University (Canada), Conservatory of China, to name a few.

In 2013, the Zodiac Trio launched an international summer chamber music academy in the South of France – Zodiac Music Academy & Festival – that includes a robust composition department, producing over 30 world premieres by young composers since its inception.  The trio’s academy fosters a unique atmosphere that brings composers and their instrumentalists counterparts together in a 2 week intense session that is dedicated to artistic growth, human connection and culminates in a premiere of a new work in front of a European audience.
